Town of Preveza

A night walk through the cobbled streets of Preveza is a good first excursion to feel the pulse of the city as well as to enjoy the choices of good, quality food. The fish taverns are certainly the first choice, since the Amvrakikos Gulf is famous for the delicious fish it

produces, mainly sardines and shrimp, also known as ‘’gabari’’. Also local sweet delicacies such as ice cream are something we would recommend to taste. The evening will end ideally with a drink or beer in one of the many tasteful bars located either by the sea or in the traditional, lively neighbourhoods.

Zagori

The cluster of 46 villages of Zagori are located in the Prefecture of Ioannina and are characterised by a special natural beauty and traditional architecture. The mountain tops with their steep ravines, the rivers with crystal clear waters, the traditional settlements with their mansions and arched bridges, and of course, the rich natural environment with rare and unique species of fauna and flora are some of the reasons that the last years, visitation has been intense in all the villages of Zagori throughout the year.
